Technical Sales and Development Support, Airlines Network Planning

We are seeking a skilled and experienced engineer to provide technical support for pre- and post-sales activities. The remit covers engineering support for the following areas:

  • Implementation of complex AirPlanner deployments
  • Pre-product AirPlanner deployments
  • Product enhancement/development input
  • Technical sales activities including data manipulation and demonstration preparation

The successful candidate

The successful candidate will have both relevant technical and sales experience. The person will need to work well with the existing team and have a capacity to keep pace with the changes in the industrial sector such as airline alliances and competitor suppliers. The following skills and experience are essential:

  • At least 3 years experience in software development and support of large-scale object-oriented systems (experience with Java and constraint programming)
  • Experience in technical support of software presentation and demonstration
  • Experience with interfacing with customers and software developers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in airline schedule planning is useful
